It also runs well on a 3080 and G2. Of course it's expensive but all I'm saying is that it's possible to solve those problems with expensive hardware. You need to run at a high resolution and you need an HMD that can display this high resolution. But you can still get good results with DLSS.

Should work fine, just make sure you have the game installed to your C: drive or VR will not work. Various-Artist. • 3 yr. ago. I was able to get it to work. When you launch the game it gives you the option to launch in vr mode. I use virtual desktop and play on my quest 2 and it works fine.

Before 2020, i5-4460, gtx 970, playing No Mans Sky VR with acceptable framerate, I do not remember lagging. Now - with i5-13600KF and 3060 ti, the gpu 3060 ti is bottlenecked at 99% if I do not use DLSS-Performance. If I used DLSS-Performance I get blurred image but the FPS is mostly 90, sometimes drops to 80 and GPU is at around 75%. SSR creates high-quality reflective materials and improves lighting quality. Bespoke SSR visuals have been authored and enabled on the Space Anomaly, the Space Station, freighter interiors, derelict freighters and Atlas Stations. The existing volumetric lighting system has been significantly optimised. Volumetric lighting has been enabled in VR.
This "getting used to it" is known as "VR legs" to get over the nausea (like spending time on a boat gets you over nausea by getting your "Sea legs"). To help for now tho, you will just need to do shorter sessions until your brain gets used to it. While you are playing though, you can do things to help like take ginger pills, or chew ginger gum
I've got a GTX 1060 6gb with an i7-6700HQ in my laptop, which is on average, about 10% less powerful than a full size version of the GPU. I can play reasonably and the game looks alright. Definitely a ton of jaggies due to lack of anti-aliasing, but the game needs to be optimized a little more for me to want to put more time into the game. You spec is super low for no man sky , set it to lowest possible and then try to go up , but still do not expect good stuff. Revolutionary_Ant706 • 2 mo. ago. I have it on the lowest and still is unplayable if its on high it is the same thing same stuttering that is why i think its not a specs issue at least idk the vr requirements but i meet

Quite a few of us PC VR players have found it helpful to set the resolution on the regular, flat-screen monitor to 800x600 before starting the game. It has zero effect on the resolution of the VR headset, but it stops the second copy of the game from ever making it to the screen, cutting a significant amount of load.

NMS VR Performance Fix - This is huge! Go into your GPU control panel and force v-sync off. Your VR game is being locked to your desktop monitors refresh-rate, and if this is lower than your VR headset's refresh rate it causes reprojection to kick in all the time. Then, go into the games graphics settings. Switch the game to fullscreen, and

Good news guys, it's fixable. The game does look and perform terribly on default settings. Here's what i did to fix it. turn off v-sync in your graphics card control panel - v-sync causes excessive reprojection. turn the in game resolution down to it's lowest setting. This make no impact on the resolution in VR.

Hey for some reason im unable to play no mans sky in vr mode, when i load it up it up it is super laggy and the eyes feel weird. then after i press normal mode it takes forever to load just for it to be super laggy again. here is my specs CPU: Intel core i7-9700kf GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060(latest Driver installed) Motherboard: ASRock Z390 Pro4 Ram:16gb Operating system: Windows 10 SSD: Over
UPDATE2 - UNPLAYABLE (FOR ME) IN VR. This thread delivers the changes required to get it running properly. Still not perfect, but getting damn near! Valve employees themselves have started to pile on with how poorly the optimization is. We can't get the game to run smoothly at lowest settings at 0.7 SS.
