Unlike the glow plug warning light on my Mk3 2 litre Tddi Mondeo which always came on and remained on for a short time (following which the engine would always immediately burst into life - even in the coldest conditions!) on this car, the glow plug light rarely comes on at all and if so - only for a fraction of a second and only then, on the AA just plugged in the code reader.. the engine worked fine for over 20 miles with no issues i turned off a roundabout and it started stuttering and kicking out alot of white smoke.

Mine was build May 2015, and advised that the technicla bulletin was not applicable, as only early Mk 5's were affected.
