Of course it helps, since it's pointless to pay a driver if he doesn't have a truck a drive. Your problem is you haven't driven enough to find enough employment centers yet. Once you get a few employment centers discovered you will find drivers to hire, the more employment centers you find, the more drivers will be available for hire.

Yeah it’s possible, though if your purpose is earning money faster then it’s better that you drive the truck and wait until you can assign your driver a cheap truck. Even if your driver is super skilled, his earnings won’t compare with yours using the What's happening out there however is that a more powerful truck with more axles can undertake more challenging tasks. Euro Truck Simulator 2. hired drivers. Just give him or her a truck and they will do the rest. Also the stats (engine power and such) on the truck, doesn't matter. They can use ANY truck, for ALL jobs, no difference. But to get all the jobs they need required skills first. Meaning you have to train them properly.

It balances a lot of things in the game relating to money. It makes damage to the load on trips significantly reduced, like 50% damaged load is only -$126 off. When reached Level 36, a Driver gets all Skill points, and rated 10.0.Afterwards, he doesn’t upgrade or downgrade in Rating regardless of his driving aspect. Also, there is nothing left to be unlocked, any truck part, customization option; but new paint jobs could appear.

Lately, I have been looking in my garage economy summary and saw that I am losing money from my driver. Then I looked at his logs and saw that he makes 4000€, but I pay him 5000€. Results to date suggest that the flatbed, insulated and refrigerated trailers give the best return but even those take a long time to amortise their costs. TL;DR trailers are cosmetic, as are truck upgrades. If your only interest is the number representing your in-game wealth, ignore them.

I believe I am correct - hired drivers get the same jobs and amount off the various markets as you do. Also, like you, they make money money once they boost their XP and become a driver with a 10.0 rating. A new hire with a 0.8 and 1.7 rating makes much less than a 10.0 driver.

So I have 21 empty trucks and I cannot hire anymore drivers that sucks. We should at least be able to hire as many drivers as we have empty garage slots. This game ATS is only maybe half way done now to completing all of the USA and I was looking forward to growing my company and drivers larger with every new state added.
